𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐑𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 (𝐒𝐑𝐋𝐌𝐬) – 𝐀 𝐌𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐞

Maybe for the first time in India, students from Livelihoods- Rural Development, TISS Hyderabad and TISS Guwahati-Placement Cell came together in a shared virtual space to directly engage with practitioners from leading State Rural Livelihoods Missions (SRLMs).

Hosted by Development Wala, this roundtable created a powerful dialogue between academia and field realities.

The session brought deep insights on:

• Women-led livelihood movements
• Institutional strengthening and SHG federations
• Innovations across state missions
• Ground-level challenges and adaptive leadership
• Career pathways within SRLM ecosystems

The exchange was honest, reflective, and deeply rooted in practice. Students had the opportunity to understand how policy translates into community transformation.
