ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Learning and Migration Program (LAMP) addresses the challenges faced by children at risk of distressed migration and climate-induced displacement, providing education, resources, and support to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty and child labor. LAMP helps children from migrant families stay in school and gain strong foundational skills. To counter learning regression, the program offers remedial education to ensure age-appropriate learning. Emphasizing STEM education, LAMP equips schools with teaching materials, digital resources, and teacher training, promoting equitable access to education. Since 2006, LAMP has impacted 1.59 million children and supported 5,432 villages across 17 states and union territories.
