Job Description | Position Overview: The Commissioning Executive is responsible for supervising the commissioning process for equipment, systems, and facilities across multiple STEM labs that will be established by Learning Links Foundation. This role includes collaborating with different teams, extensive travel, and guaranteeing the effective integration and operation of commissioned components. Roles & Responsibilities Commissioning Planning: • Identify commissioning requirements, dependencies, and resource needs: Coordinate with the Project Director, Commissioning Manager and Project Manager (Technical) to understand the equipment list and standard lab design • Develop commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for equipment and systems. • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure alignment with project objectives. • Exercise prudent discretion to customise the lab based on the unique ground scenario, in consultation with Project Director, Commissioning Manager and Project Manager (Technical). Testing and Integration: • Perform functional testing, performance testing, and integration testing on commissioned systems/ equipment. • Work with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to address issues Quality Assurance and Compliance: • Ensure adherence to design specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. • Establish quality assurance measures and protocols to guarantee safe and dependable operations Handover: • Oversee the handover process along with the Commissioning Manager to ensure a smooth transition and operational readiness. Project Coordination: • Participate in project meetings to understand and deliver on project timelines. • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, project managers, and team members regarding commissioning progress. • Monitor milestones, risks, and issues associated with commissioning activities. Resource Management • Engage with Project Managers to ensure they have the required resources (manpower and infrastructure/equipment) to meet project goals and milestones, coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders as required.
